Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu visited Gaziantep City Hospital as part of a series of programs in the city.

Upon arrival, he was welcomed by Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Ilgın Türkçüoğlu and engaged in discussions with doctors and hospital staff.

After the visit, Memişoğlu stated that Gaziantep is one of the most important cities in the region.

He emphasized that city hospitals, which President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan referred to as his "dream," are crucial in elevating Turkey's healthcare standards. Memişoğlu noted, "Our large city hospitals will not only provide services but also become centers for producing science and technology, allowing our doctors and researchers to contribute significantly."

He also highlighted the opening of 75-bed emergency hospitals in Oğuzeli and Nurdağı, advocating for the dedication and hard work of all healthcare professionals in delivering exemplary services to the community. He assured that Turkey aims to become a leading country in health services and technology.

The visit was attended by Governor Kemal Çeber, Mayor Fatma Şahin, MHP Gaziantep MP Sermet Atay, and AK Party Gaziantep MP Mesut Bozatlı.
